VMV10-P (Profibus PA Mutivariable Transmitter)

VMV10-P is a fully digital Multivariable Pressure and Capacitive Temperature Transmitter designed for differential, gauge and absolute pressure measurements, plus temperature measurement with RTD, TC, Ohm and mV sensors.

The transmitter is powered by a 9 to 32 Vdc voltage and uses the Profibus PA communication protocol in accordance with IEC61158-2 for configuration, calibration, monitoring and diagnostics.

VMV10-P works with the concept of functional blocks, such as Analog Input and Totalizer. Profibus PA configurator, Android platform or tools based on EDDL or FDT/DTM can easily configure the transmitter. In addition, it is possible to configure the VMV10-P via local adjustment using a magnetic key.


Golden Guinea Brewery

Golden Guinea was originally named Independence Brewery Limited, the location was chosen due to the importance of water which led to the selection of a site in Umuahia, the town of the regional premier, Michael Okpara. Production started in 1963 with an annual capacity of 1 million gallons. The company introduced Eagle Stout to the market in 1967 but between 1967 and 1970 further production was hampered by the Nigerian Civil War. In 1971, the company changed its name to the current one Golden Guinea Breweries. In 1975, the company was revamped and an extension was built by the German firm Coutinho Caro which later later participated in an equity offering issued by the firm.

Production at the brewery was hampered by a fire incident in 2003 but recent attempts have been made by FSS-DS Technologies Limited did the Golden Guinea Brewery Line 3 Project. Green field complete production line Siemens Automation system configuration and programming, electrical completion checks and commissioning, process commissioning and operations maintenance support, to resuscitate the fire. The company held franchise rights to produce and market Holsten Brewery’s Bergedorf premium lager beer and Bergedorf Malta in Nigeria.

Beamex IPRT Industrial Probe

The Beamex IPRT-300 is a robust industrial general-purpose temperature probe. It can be used up to +300°C (+572°F) temperature. The IPRT-300 provides a good accuracy of ±0.04 °C when used with the provided CvD (Callendar Van Dusen) coefficients.

The IPRT-300 is provided with a connector, so it can be plugged in to Beamex MC6 family calibrators and Beamex dry blocks.
